Balatonkeresztúr is situated at south from the northern extremity of Lake Balaton, where the main road nr. 7 - the road near the lake - turns to south, towards Nagykanizsa.

There are some spas, thermal baths and towns worth visiting in the near (eg. Hévíz, Zalakaros, Kehidakustány, Kis-Balaton, Keszthely). You can reach them easily by bus; there is a bus station 500m from our guest house.
If you would like to do some sports and spend an active holiday at the Lake Balaton you are at the right place! Here you can ride a horse, go on excursions or hike, go to the beach, go swimming, fishing or hunting. Different kind of ships (cruise ships and party ships), tennis courts and bicycle paths wait for you.

The Black Cat (Fekete Macska) Pension is situated in a restful and quite place, but still in the middle of Balatonkeresztúr, close to Lake Balaton (500m to the beach). You can reach the train station, main roads and harbour easily as well. You can try delicious Hungarian specialities or choose from a wide range of international meals in our restaurant. It serves to your comfort with its traditional Hungarian art (csárda) and its tables in the garden under the trees. Our restaurant gives you the possibility to have dinner with more courses or just try one of the good wines while having a nice conversation with your friends.
